Illustration Fridays' word this week is pretend..I found this just waiting in my sketch book!What little girl doesn't like to pretend? The most recurring pretend theme being that of a happy mommy! I had drawn this as a quick sketch. One of my friends is planning on writing a childrens book and gave me a few pictures of her little girl for inspiration regarding possible illlustrations for her book. Until I scanned the sketch an hour ago, it was just that, a pencil sketch. I painted and drew on it digitally, and that is what you see here. She looks so happy and protective of her pretend babies!
