The Girls

Aren't they sweet! Sometimes my favorite creations are made when I am just messing around. This was one of those. It's so nice to just sit back and not have a goal regarding what I am going create, and play around with this picture or that. It also reminds me of why I keep telling myself "No, you do not need to clean out your picture files, or delete this or that." Having a nice palette of pictures to choose from is fun, I never know when they will come in handy, although I am totally disorganized when it comes pictures on my computer. No rhyme or reason to a folder. If I had enough patience to sit down and fix that..of course it would be done. Maybe some day. I know it would make sense, it took me a few scans thru my folder to actually find this one!

Detach

She no longer felt part of this world. Her home was a cold abandoned house. The only time she came out was at night, so that no one would know she was there. She had managed to detach herself from the world..how she this happened, she could not figure out.

Suprise image

What a sweet, beautiful suprise I had when creating this! The window on this at first appearred to be just that when I took the picture. It was a window on the second floor of an old church..in between two other windows. I thought I could always use them for something. Last week I decided to play around a little, and after bringing the picture up for editing I found it had a stained glass image in it! I had to brighten and sharpen, enhance the colors, and brighten some more, before the image stood out as it does. What better place to put a window with a suprise image, but in the corner of an abandoned factory? So here it is...!

Mail Room

Another picture I took while out jogging. Well actually stopped jogging and then took the picture. Your never know what you will find in abandoned corners of buildings with their doors open! Can you imagine, one day long ago, this room was shiny and new? This is a small version of the picture...click on it and it will show a larger more detailed one. The effect is better when it is bigger.

Poof

One rainy, stormy night a puppy and a kitten were home alone. They always did their best to avoid each other, or if the did run into each other, scratch the others eyes out. This night was different. When their owners arrived home, they found them both sitting at the foot of the bed in the master bedroom, just as content as could be. Apparently, the storm came and after a particularly loud clap of thunder and a cloudy "poof" they suddenly thought one was a cat and and not a dog, and the other a dog and not a cat. They are currently the best of friends.
