This is my first self portrait using a timer, and monopod! The monopod is not by choice, but by mistake, as I went to buy a new tripod the other day, and in my daze of daze, grabbed a monopod. So my little monopod didn't want to standy by itself, so it is propped again a large, fallen branch. There were guys next door hammering away on the roof, and here I was in shorts and black shiny dress shoes, with socks no less, and my dogs inside whining at the window. So needless to say it was a quick little photo session! I took a few more shots and then ever so daintily, (not) skipped across my backyard and into my house. I was inspired by a fellow blogger, to take this pic. Flickr has a group called bench Monday. She took such sweet photos for this that I wanted to try it myself! If you want to visit Karens' site and see her work click here: Beelieve.
