Of Dolls and Houses

Of dolls and houses
of childhood dreams

Of ghouls and monsters
to the naked eye unseen.

Of a voice soft as velvet
to take you from a scary scene

Whispers there is nothing
that will ever hide
under your bed.
An arm around you
a story book read.

Of fairy wings, my puppy dogs tail.
A plastic tub boat
in it I set sail,
knowing she will stand strong,
should I ever fail.
