Witch of a Women

Never one to shun her witchy evil side,
she embraced it that Halloween night,
she enveloped it,
sealed it,
placed it safe, deep down inside..
but even there, her
wickedness she could not hide.
She cackled, and stepped out from a haystack,
where in she did reside.
A dreamy nightmarish blur of black she became,
swooshing and swerving through the midnight sky,
leaving a trail of soot to fall in each bystanders eye.
She terrorized she threatened,
making little goblins and angels cry.
So hungry for evil,
her soul was
hard to satisfy.
Not until the sun came up,
did she back to her haystack fly.
Happy Halloween to all! Enjoy this spooky, dreadfully frightening season!
