Ah yes, life is a great teacher isn't it? She can chew you up and spit you out, ride you hard and put you up wet.
Live and learn is what I always say, too. I also sometimes have to serve as the horrible warning because I'm not the best example :)

I smiled as I read this post, When I was small, my favorite thing was old cardboard boxes. Cut a hole for door and some for windows. Then hide quietly in there and listen to the house hold conversations. As I got older, I still love those moments when I like to Escape. (or escapae like in the movie "finding nemo") ;-) Wether I think I am running off to the beach for a day, or some quiet cafe where no one knows me for a hour, This brings me a great joy for some reason!
