If only
a tree could stand tall forever
If only heartbeats stayed young,
our minds always clear..
If only the best day of your life never ended,
and the worst day of your life never began...
Would your world be that perfect place...
If grass never died,
and our earth never shook
If childhood was always happy..
and sadness were absent from every stories end..
Would our souls ever stretch
beyond what we could possibly imagine...
yet never know, if only.
